Posh Sign Two

New Peterborough United boss Grant McCann, has flexed his muscle in the transfer market as Peterborough United sign defenders Ryan Tafazolli and Andrew Hughes from Mansfield and Newport County respectively.

Andrew Hughes started his professional career at Newport, while Ryan Tafazolli was a trainee at Southampton
Hughes, 24, has agreed a two-year deal after rejecting an offer from the Welsh side, for whom he played 151 games.
Tafazolli, also 24, was also offered a new contract at his previous club, for whom he appeared 118 times, and signed a three-year deal at League One Posh.
The pair become McCanns second and third defensive signing after Full back Hayden White joined from Bolton last month
